Comms International is a multinational group of privately owned companies. Stemming from Australia, where it operated for over two decades as AustralAsias largest privately held Motorola distributor and Unified Communications firm, originally called Comms Australia/Communications Australia (later changed to Progility Australia with its sister entity Progility India ex Siemens Integration).

In 2013 Comms International bought out its Australian shareholders and focused on the Latam markets via TecWiseLatam as well as select parts of Africa, Europe and Asia.

In 2019, Comms International created an operational support entity in Europe to facilitate growth across our Latin American assets.
Comms International later shifted the focus of this entity to facilitate growth across the African continent, operating as TecWise Africa.

As of 2022, TecWise Africa now operates a BEE4 rated subsidiary “TecWise South Africa” out of Johannesburg.

It is our goal to continue to grow in our core markets, leveraging our current relationship base, vendor partners and case experiences to attract and retain the most talented people to support and deliver sustainable outcomes to our clients.

TecWise Africa, TecWise SouthAfrica, TecWise Latam, Comms Europe, Comms AustralAsia and Affiliated entities are part of the Comms International Group of companies.

The red thread that runs through CI/TecWise is that of enabling the flow of Mission Critical Data from one point to another, turned into actionable information, which allows for intelligent and timely measures to be taken; Automatically, Autonomously, or Manually.

BEING A VALUE-ADDING PARTNER

Comms International's ambition is to achieve the status of a truly Value Adding Technology Partner to our Multinational clients.

We achieve this by adjusting our approach on a per-site and per-project basis so to, as effectively as conditions allow, ensure that our Clients reap the Safety, Efficiency, and Production benefits that any given Technology has the potential to deliver.

When the client experiences the seamless integration of Technology in their Operations, allowing them to stay focused on their own core business; We at CI/TecWise know that we have added True Value to their operations and maintained the Trust that they extend to us…...

SAFE OPERATIVE OUTCOMES

Although impressive strides have been made to improve worker safety in Heavy Industries such as Mining, Metals, Energy, Utilities, Paper & Pulp: the People that work in these industries still face some of the world’s most perilous working environments on a daily basis.

Comms International's approach to all endeavors starts by looking at the outcome that our clients are asking us to reach in a safe manner.
From the vantage point of the sought outcome: we reverse-engineering a path back to the very starting point of the Project, to ensure that our own Team can safely meet client expectations, but as importantly: Anything that is handed over to the client must deliver its intended value, Safely.

CHANGE MANAGEMENT

Innovation within many Heavy Industry verticals has the potential to address a wide range of issues such as decreasing access to resources, environmental impact, increased productivity in a safe and sustainable manner etc.

One of the main obstacles to implementing innovation in many Heavy Industries is organisational resistance to change or organisational hurdles for the implementation of new Processes and Procedures.

Many times the existing innovation models do not explicitly articulate the role of the actual People and how to engage/involve them in the process of leveraging innovation, which is why Technology, despite massive advances, has delivered but a small fraction of its promised value within most Heavy Industry verticals.

Being able to realise the full value from a given technology investment requires a massive focus on Change Management and the ongoing safeguarding of the processes put in place to deliver the Managed Change.
